Day 01: Arrive at Guwahati Apt. / Station and transfer to Nameri in Assam Arunachal Border covering a distance of 225 km in a 5 hr journey. Here we are staying for the night either at the Baligara Eco Camp or Nameri Eco Camp located by the side of the mesmerizing Kameng River and amidst wild beauty of Nameri forest Buffer zone. Nameri is a National Park known for Birders’ paradise and River rafting on the turbulent Kameng River in summer. We can have our Lunch at NRL or Repose near Sipajhar in Assam.
Day 02: Early morning exploring in the forests of the Nameri National Park with the help of a local birding guide throughout the day. As Nameri is Known for Birder’s paradise and it is one of the major routes for migratory birds as well habitats of numerous local avian species. If interested we can explore the magnificent Kameng River through River Rafting.
Day 03: After having an early B/f we are driving towards Eagle Nest Wild Life sanctuary crossing Assam Arunachal border after having formalities done at the Bhalukpong check gate. Our drive up to Eaglenest WLS via Tenga Sessa road covers a distance of 145 km in 5 hrs journey. Throughout the road is an enjoyable though somewhere we may face hard drive due to road maintenance, which is also a hilly road overlooking typical atmosphere of Arunachal. On the way we may enroute visit to the Tippy Orchid Farm and research Centre. We can have our lunch at Tenga or Sessa (in road side eatery)
Day 04: Today we are exploring the endless treasure of nature-the wilderness of Eaglenest with the help of a local Guide or can go for trekking, which is a habitat of numerous Birds and wild species. Where we can have an exotic experience of Birding and make the moments ever to remember as a photographic delight.
Day 05: Today second day exploring in the Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary of mystical Arunachal Pradesh in North East India.
Day 6: Today Third day exploring in the Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary of mystical Arunachal Pradesh in North East India.
Day 7: Today after breakfast we are driving towards mystical Dirang valley in Arunachal Pradesh of North East India. Here we can explore a birding site known as Mandala.
Day 8: After B/f we have full day sightseeing of Dirang. In the morning visit Sangti valley, a picturesque valley which is very enchanting . It’s a serene place by the side of mesmerizing Sangti river and patches of green paddy fields, slender pines and Kiwi & Apple orchards will amaze every visitor. Typical stone houses built by the Monpas over here, lend a very special charm to this place. After this we will visit the Dirang dzong, a typical village inhabited by the monpa tribes of Buddhist origin and the monastery. Also the mesmerizing Sangti Valley by the side of Kameng River is known for Black Necked Stork in winter.
Day 09 : After an early breakfast we are heading towards Manas in Assam. Crossing Assam Arunachal border our drive is via Kalaktang – Shergaon road covers a distance of 330 km in 8-9 hrs, which is thickly forested and amidst the orchards/farming and throughout the road is an enjoyable, which is also a hilly road.
Day 10: Early morning exploring wilderness in Manas National Park. Manas is a Bio Diversity Hotspot and a home numerous wild species like Royal Bengal Tiger, One horned Rhino, Black Panther, Asiatic Buffalo, Sambar & hundreads of Birds. It is located in the Bhutan India border. Early morning we are exploring the wilderness of Manas in a Jeep Safari . Manas National Park is a biosphere reserve and home to many endangered animals and a birders’ paradise.
Day 11: After breakfast we will be transferred to Guwahati airport to depart. Before leaving we may go for a tea garden visit near to Manas National Park (Optional).
